SMU Men's Head Tennis Coach Carl Neufeld hits the Hilltop this summer at SMU Tennis Camp
Ready to put some bounce into your summer vacation? Take your game to the Hilltop!
Coach Carl Neufeld, SMU Men's Head Tennis Coach for the past 18 years, brings his expertise and experience to the courts this summer. In addition to leading the men's team, Coach Neufeld has continued to coach former SMU player and former camp counselor Johan Brunstrom to a title victory at the Czech Open and first-round wins at the French Open and Wimbledon.
This summer, Southern MethodistUniversity opens its courts to kids five and up and adults of all levels of play.
Johan Brunstrom, former SMU Tennis Camp counselor, wins 4 straight matches to take doubles title at Czech Open on Sunsay.
Campers explore the game of tennis with solid instruction from both current and former SMU tennis team members as well as Coach Carl Neufeld and Assistant Tobias Clemens. Children will strengthen their minds and bodies through drills, games and conditioning. Ratios are kept to a maximum 5 campers per counselor. Campers will also get an excellent opportunity to cool off after practice with a swim in the SMU Olympic sized pool.
Our Ladies' Tennis Clinics will leave you looking and playing fierce, no matter your experience level. Energetic and skilled instructors from both SMU Men's and Women's tennis teams will keep your heart pounding and your strokes grooving. Morning and evening sessions fit even the busiest schedule. Join us at the Hilltop for a Tennis day out like no other!
In addition to the current members of the SMU men's and women's tennis teams and Coach Carl Neufeld, campers will be getting instruction and motivation from SMU's new Men's Assistant Tennis Coach Tobias Clemens. Tobias is a three-time All American. He holds the record as the winningest player in the history of UCLA at the number 1 singles position. Tobias was also a scholar athlete, graduating with a degree in Economics from UCLA.
Excellent instruction, high energy and lots of fun will greet all campers at SMU Turpin Tennis Center this summer!

entrants and enrollment is only limited based on age, grade level,
gender, or number restrictions as specified by each camp.
